Back up your codes

An encrypted backup lets you restore AuthX when you move browsers or devices.

What to do

  1. 1Open Settings in AuthX, then select Backup.
  2. 2Export an encrypted backup and choose a strong password you can remember.
  3. 3Store the file somewhere you trust. Keep the password separate from the file.
  4. 4To restore, choose Import backup and select the matching backup type.
